Horse Description:

Makfi has had no trouble transferring his class to his progeny with the brilliant BONNEVAL winning at Group 1 level in both the autumn and spring of 2017 in Australia while SOFIA ROSA is an Australian Oaks winner and the sire’s sons MAKE BELIEVE and MARKY MARK have already won at the highest level in New Zealand.

This colt’s maternal pedigree is nothing short of outstanding with his dam Penumbra a three-time winner, by the great Kiwi sire PENTIRE, that has produced a winner at 1200m in New Zealand this season, but the mare is also related to some high-class New Zealand performers.

Kiwi champion (KING) MUFHASA is closely to this cracking colt as is the multiple Group 1 winner PACE INVADER and her Group 3-winning daughter GREY INVADER while Australian stakes winner RADIO SKY is also among this two-year-old’s close relations.
